John Turner Lane
John Turner Lane is an interdisciplinary artist that works with Photography, Printmedia, Drawing, and collage. John has a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and is based in Buffalo, NY. John reflects on his experiences as a queer black man and uses a variety of mediums to discuss ideas of race and sexuality. Currently he is interested in the idea of a constructed persona and how marginalized groups craft different personas to move through the world and as well as the role perception play in online dating and other parts of life.
